Sadly life managed to get in the way of my review of the lovely October Secret Scent Box but it is finally here! The boxes contain three x 3ml fragrances samples each month from a range of brands. The boxes can fit through your letter box and I find the samples really useful to take with me when I’m travelling or to just add to my handbag!
Lavin Rumeur
Let’s start with a brand and a fragrance that I haven’t ever tried before, Lavin. The fragrance contains the following notes: magnolia, rose, jasmine, plum, orange blossom, amber, musk and patchouli which are all of my favourites notes. They combine to make an unusual floral fragrance that I think might be too sweet for some but I love it.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
This fragrance is so well loved but I haven’t tried it before but it has received amazing reviews for years. It contains notes of ginger, mandarin, bergamot, jasmine, coconut, frangipani, musk, vanilla, amber and woods. I don’t massively love coconut scented fragrances but this one is gorgeous! It’s a very summer perfume due to the floral notes and coconut; however, I’d wear it all year round!
FCUK For Her
Lastly is a fragrance that seems to be been around since I was in my teens! It contains the following notes: iris, citrus, peony, violet, jasmine, sandalwood, cedar, amber and vanilla. It’s a lovely everyday sweet and floral fragrance that I’d definitely buy if it was on sale.
