If you love perfume, or are looking for your signature scent. Secret Scent Box is a wonderful way to explore the world of perfume.
Every month you are sent three different perfumes to try, along with scent note cards. These are incredibly useful for figuring out what different types of scent you enjoy. The little spray bottles are the perfect amount to last you all month, which means you can try your perfumes in different places and times. This is very helpful, because it’s amazing the difference you can find in scents depending on what time of the day or night, how long it lasts, and the environment you’re in.
Clinique – Happy Heart
I usually think of skincare when it comes to Clinique, but of course they are also known for perfume. Happy Heart is definitely strong on the florals, though it’s not overly sweet. It’s very fresh and quite light, though it lasts very nicely. The scent makes me think of spring and summer and flowery dresses, and, would suit most ages I think.
Zarkoperfume – The Lawyer
I’ve never actually heard of Zakoperfume, but I’m very glad to have discovered it! This perfume is definitely a unisex fragrance, but it’s not aggressively masculine; you don’t get the hint of shower gel that often comes with less obviously feminine fragrances!.The top notes dry down quite fast leaving some wonderful warm spice and chocolate notes, which have a touch of sweetness. It’s a strong scent that suggests strong personality, and I can imagine this being a good scent for confidence at work.
Elizabeth Arden – Red Door
Red Door is something of a classic perfume that has been around since the 90s. I think it’s a bit love or hate it, depending on how familiar you are with it! It’s floral without being sweet, and as a scent it’s quite string and direct. There are definite associations with older women, but it definitely makes a statement!
