Trying out new tea blends is one of my little pleasures and as an avid tea drinker for many years, I’m always seeking out better quality tea, as well as unique and different blends that you simply can’t find in the supermarket. With such a wide choice available online, it can be a little overwhelming, which is one of the reasons why I like the Ten Teas Explorer Box so much.
Every month, they put together a box of ten different teas for you to sample and deliver this straight to your door. Each of the loose leaf teas comes packaged in a biodegradable, resealable pouch, and a box of biodegradable tea filters (see below) is also included, as well as a £5 off discount voucher that you can spend on the Ten Teas website.
This month’s box contains all of the following:-
Angel’s Kiss
A heavenly flavoured green tea that makes a high-quality cuppa every time. Infused with fruity flavours such as Passion Fruit, Pineapple and Strawberry, Angel’s Kiss has a delightful taste over a fresh, floral base which is perfect for the Summer months ahead.
Fujian Premium Jasmine
This speciality Chinese Green Tea has fresh Jasmine Blossoms added to it when the green tea leaves are left to dry out in the sun. The resulting flavour is both sweet and floral, with an intense flowery Jasmine taste and scent.
Kama Sutra Chai
I’m a huge fan of Chai teas and this one is amazing! Kama Sutra Chai makes a full flavoured cuppa that’s packed full of sensuous floral and spicy notes. Add a dash of whole milk for a relaxing and indulgent experience!
Mangalam Estate Tea
A Black Assam tea of prime quality, the Mangalam Estate Tea has a dark amber colour and a strong malty flavour. Rich and spicy, it’s a must-try for anyone who adores the finest Assam teas.
Sea Of Blossoms
Not only does Sea Of Blossoms look spectacular in the bag, but it tastes incredible too! This herbal blend of Raspberries, Rhubarb, Cherries and Linden Blossoms offers an interesting flavour to the palate as it marries together smooth fruity notes with a sweet, floral and honey like aftertaste. Delicious!
Mountain Pearls Oolong
An exquisite tea that’s sourced from the Chinese province of Fujian, Mountain Pearls Oolong is similar in style to a Ti Kuan Yin tea as it unfurls into an open leaf when hot water is added. Full of character with a lovely fragrant taste, it’s surprisingly refreshing to drink first thing in the morning.
White Swiss Truffle Rooibos
I love sweet teas, especially in the evening, and this White Swiss Truffle Rooibos is one of my personal favourites from this month’s box. It has a sweet Chocolate flavour with hints of zingy Mint which is delightfully different from many Rooibos teas that I’ve tried in the past!
Wild Berries
Fruit tea fans will love this Wild Berries mix which is packed full of flavour, yet mellow in composition but with an explosively alluring fruity aroma. A good one to try with afternoon tea/cakes.
Well Being
One of Ten Teas’ functional blends, Well Being offers notes of Ashwagandha Root which is delicately balanced with Cranberry, Wild Cherry and Elderflowers. Fruity, refreshing and instantly calming for a feel-good mood.
Salted Caramel
Salted Caramel is the foodie trend that I hope will never go away and this black flavoured tea is a great example of why it should stay around forever! This black tea has a generous helping of real Cream-Caramel, Almond and Brittle pieces which perfectly melt into the tea when it’s prepared and are enriched with a sprinkling of salt – heavenly!
