If you enjoy trying out different and exciting flavours of tea, why not try the Ten Teas Explorer Box? Delivered quarterly, the box contains ten bags of high-quality, loose leaf tea blends which have been ethically sourced and packaged in plastic-free, biodegradable/compostable pouches.
Their new Winter box has arrived just in time for Christmas and the flavours, are of course, very Christmassy! Let’s see what’s inside, shall we?
1 – Bourbon Vanilla Chai
A warming blend of Black Tea, Cardamom, Clove and Cinnamon, finished with a shot of old-fashioned creamy Bourbon Vanilla from Madagascar. I absolutely loved this flavour!
2 – Rice Pudding Milk Oolong
This is a really smooth and rich flavour that does remind me of rice pudding as it’s sweet and creamy. Milky Oolong teas are very on-trend at the moment so this is a great way to try it for yourself.
3 – Winter Palace Marzipan Rooibos
Rooibos and Marzipan are a match made in heaven and this blend marries together premium Moroccan Almonds to deliver a German-inspired Marzipan flavour. Sweet and nutty and very Christmassy!
4 – Christmas Cookie Infusion
This tea is quite different from its name as it’s more fruity but still has a lovely sweet quality to it thanks to the mix of Hibiscus, Rosehip, Apple and Orange.
5 – Chocolate Loves Mint
One of my favourite flavours in the box is this Chocolate Loves Mint tea. It’s a really delicious full-flavoured Chocolate Black Tea with lots of fresh Mint notes that’s similar to After Eights – yum!
6 – Cinnamon & Apple White Tea with Mullein Flowers
This interesting combination is quite festive with a blend of White Tea, Apple, Cinnamon and delicate Mullein Flowers, resulting in a well-balanced, fresh and clean cuppa.
7 – Creamy Earl Grey
Who doesn’t love a classic Creamy Earl Grey? This one is full of flavour with a mellow creamy taste that’s ideal for drinking during the day.
8 – Green Tea with Chocolate Cake, Pear & Ginger
Another new favourite flavour is this delectable Green Tea with flavours of sweet and juicy ripe Pears, Butter, Sugar and Chocolate Chips. The added Ginger gives it some festive spice!
9 – Chinese Almond Tea
This mighty Estate Tea features an incredibly rich and nutty aroma and flavour thanks to chopped Almonds in the mix which infuse into the tea beautifully. A lovely cup to start Christmas Day with.
10 – Golden Glow
The last tea is called Golden Glow which is one of Ten Tea’s ‘Functional Teas’ so it has lots of health benefits to it. This herbal tea blend is caffeine-free and features anti-inflammatory Turmeric and Beet to help improve your complexion due to their natural detoxifying properties.
