The Grape Club is ‘desnobbifying’ the wine industry, making wine more accessible for everyone. Each month they send out 4 hand picked carefully selected bottles of wine that you can’t find in the supermarkets. Each bottle comes with its own personalised tasting note written in laymans terms explaining why the wine tastes as it does, a fun story about the winemakers and a handy food pairing suggestion so you can learn as you enjoy your glass of wine. Set up by two cousins from a wine producing industry Ant and Louisa Symington know a thing or two about wine. Fed up with buying bog-standard wine in supermarkets based on label and price. Like most people, they are interested in learning more and we appreciate good wine when we taste it. Back in their jobs they were just too busy to hunt for interesting wines. Resenting how much money we all spend on last-minute average wine purchases on the way to see friends for dinner. They set out to build the solution and launched in 2014.
