The Vegan Kind is one of my favourite subscription boxes and I always look forward to seeing what’s going to be inside this box of vegan-friendly treats! Whether you are vegan or not, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed if you enjoy trying out new food and snacks like I do, as well as discovering a new beauty or eco-friendly product in the process.
To give you an idea of what you can expect from The Vegan Kind, here’s their latest box for this month:-
Simply Vegan Plain Chocolate Cinder Toffee (RRP £1.29)
Starting off with one of my favourite products in the box this month, this thick and chunky slab of Chocolate Cinder Toffee was amazing! Handmade in traditional copper pans with the finest ingredients, it has an airy golden honeycomb centre which is generously smothered with a layer of dark chocolate – delicious!
The Nut Shack Piri Piri Flavoured Peanuts (RRP £2)
Blended by hand with some of the best herbs and spices available, The Nut Shack specialises in seasoned nuts which is something that I always like to have in the cupboard when I fancy something savoury. Despite the Piri Piri name, these peanuts are quite mild but full of flavour and go really well with a cold drink.
The Humble Co Floss Picks (RRP £3.99)
Alongside the food and snack goodies, The Vegan Kind boxes are a great place to find eco-friendly products such as these Floss Picks from The Humble Co. Made primarily from corn starch and packaged in eco-friendly paper packaging, these are a brilliant alternative to plastic floss picks and feature double threading to easily floss between your teeth as and when you need to.
Aqua Libra Infused Sparkling Water in Grapefruit & Pineapple (RRP £1.50)
It’s been pretty hot this week here in the UK so this drink was much appreciated! From Aqua Libra, this Infused Sparkling Water is free from added sugar, sweeteners and anything artificial, and instead uses natural ingredients to create a refreshing soft drink. I really enjoyed this fruity flavour!
Pipers Crisps in Arreton Tomato flavour (RRP £1)
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten tomato flavoured crisps before so these were interesting and tasty to try! I love the quality of Pipers Crisps and this is another savoury snack that goes well with a cold glass of beer or cider on a hot day.GATO & Co Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Cookies (RRP £1.79)
Lower in sugar than regular cookies and with 4g of plant-based protein per pack, these mini cookies contain natural ingredients that are good for you, such as oats, almonds and prebiotic fibre to keep your gut happy. They’re also very yummy!
Great Food Affairs Garlic & Parsley Bruschetta (RRP £1.29)
Lightly toasted pieces of crunchy bruschetta which are seasoned with a good dose of garlic and parsley – what’s not to love?! These are very versatile and are ideal to serve with hummus, soups, or just to nibble on tapas-style.
Pollen + Grace Hazelnut Praline + Reishi Super Square (RRP £1.95)
The last product in this month’s The Vegan Kind box is an interesting healthy one. This square of raw cacao and hazelnut praline is studded with cacao nibs and enriched with reishi superfood powder for a tasty, guilt-free snack on the go which is packed full of goodness to keep you going.
At the bottom of the box, I found July’s recipe card which is for a Sweet Potato Katsu Curry – yum!
