Threads is a monthly geek-themed box which is brought to life by the online retailer Zavvi. Each month you’ll receive a brand new graphic novel and a T-Shirt, and for the bargain price of just £9.99, it’s easy to see why so many people are signing up!
The boxes arrive via courier and the contents are a surprise every time, but you can always count on receiving official branded merchandise from a wide range of geek-related themes.
January’s box arrived this week, so let’s take a look at what’s inside, shall we?
Popeye Tshirt
This month’s Tshirt is a cool grey design from Popeye which is pretty different! The Tshirt is cotton and is produced by a company that has been certified Climate Neutral which is great to see. I really like this shirt – it would be perfect for the gym! This is a size Men’s Medium as I tend to wear my shirts loose and oversized, and when you sign up to Threads you can select which size and gender you’d like.
Marvel The Mighty Avengers – The Unspoken
January’s graphic novel is another good one – it’s from Marvel’s The Mighty Avengers series which is pretty awesome! I haven’t read anything from this series before but I’m familiar with the characters so it’ll be fun to get into I’m sure. The softback is excellent quality of course and the artwork looks fantastic – I can’t wait to get stuck into this at the weekend!
