Váli Shaving Box: Starter Kit

The Váli Shaving Co. is a specialist men’s shaving company which was founded by two brothers who were fed up with the constant tugging and pulling that mainstream razors were causing to their skin. They decided to develop their own products to allow men to get the best and smoothest shaves without any unpleasant irritation, and so Váli Shaving was born.

They offer an ongoing subscription box which sends men their shaving essentials, and the first box is called the Starter Kit which is priced at £20. 30 days after the Starter Kit is dispatched, a 90-day refill kit is sent out which is priced at £10 per month and subscribers can pause, cancel or edit their subscriptions online at any time with no commitment problems.

The Starter Kit is presented in a simple thin cardboard box and contains the following products:-

Stainless Steel Safety Razor

The first item is of course an obvious choice for a shaving box – a razor! This one feels high quality and is made from stainless steel. It has a weighty feel about it and my housemate commented that it felt good in his hand when he used it, with a strong handle and a well-positioned head.

Pack of 10 Blades

A pack of blades is included to start you off, and these are fully recyclable, made platinum-coated stainless steel. They feature a sharp double edge and my housemate remarked that they were very good quality, allowing him to get a really close and smooth shave when he used them.

Shaving Brush

Made in Italy, this luxury Shaving Brush features silky soft synthetic fibres which are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. It does an excellent job and the classic shape looks very stylish on display in the bathroom.

Natural Shaving Cream (100ml)

Next, there’s a large tube of Natural Shaving Cream which contains a blend of moisturising natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Castor Oil, to help you get a nice and smooth shave with the best results. There’s also Lavender Essential Oil included to calm the skin and it smells good too!

After Shave Balm (100ml)

Finally, the last product in the Starter Kit is an After Shave Balm which comes in a bottle that has a handy pump dispenser. Made from 100% natural ingredients, it’s the best product to use to complete your shaving routine, and ensures that your skin is soothed and moisturised after you’ve shaven.
