Veganism is becoming more and more popular, so it’s no surprise to see lots of new vegan-friendly subscription boxes starting to come onto the market to meet the consumer demand. The Vegan Kind was the first to do this in the UK five years ago and they have become hugely popular thanks to their passion for saving animals and helping to educate people about becoming vegan.
Their monthly subscription box is of course 100% vegan-friendly, and features a variety of food, drink and lifestyle products so that you can really enjoy living cruelty-free! It’s a great way to come across new products and different brands too.
July’s The Vegan Kind box arrived last week so let’s take a closer look at all the goodies that are inside.
Kuhbonbon Caramel Vegan Fudge (RRP £3.49)
I’m so excited to finally try a vegan fudge! This generous sized bag from the family-owned German brand Kuhbonbon, features lots of individually-wrapped dairy and gluten-free fudge. They’re made from a blend of natural ingredients which includes Cocoa Butter, unrefined Cane Sugar and organic Coconut Milk, and they have the most delicious caramel flavour. You wouldn’t think these are vegan unless you were told because they’re so creamy!
Fairfields Farm Jalapeno & Lime Lentil Bites (RRP £0.75)
For something savoury, there’s a bag of Fairfields Farm Jalapeno & Lime Lentil Bites which are bursting full of flavour. They’re a wonderful healthier alternative to crisps and still have a very satisfying crunch to them. As they’re made from lentils, they’re high in protein and are less than 99 calories per bag.
Munchy Seeds Salted Caramel Snack Pack (RRP £0.80)
Brand new from Munchy Seeds, this handy snack pack is filled with a mix of Salted Caramel roasted Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds, all finished off nicely with a pinch of Coconut and a sprinkle of Sea Salt flakes. I love anything that’s flavoured with Salted Caramel and these are very moreish.
Livia’s Kitchen Nugglets (RRP £1.79)
A healthier cookie dough treat? Yes please! These Nugglets from Livia’s Kitchen are free from dairy and gluten and made with only the finest natural ingredients. Each nugglet is covered in chocolate and features a sweet and oaty centre that tastes just like cookie dough. Absolutely delicious and it’s difficult to not want to eat the whole bag!
Honestly Co Mild Masala Blend (RRP £2.99)
Next up, I was pleased to find a curry mix because I’m a huge fan of curries and regularly make my own at home. This one is from Honestly Co and is their popular Mild Masala Blend which is based on an authentic Punjabi recipe. All you need to make it is water, oil and your favourite veggies for a super tasty meal.
Huel Cocoa & Orange Bar (RRP £1.41)
This bar is a complete balance of protein, essential fats, carbs, fibre, phytonutrients and all 26 essential vitamins and minerals, and can be enjoyed as a breakfast replacement or post-workout snack. The Cocoa & Orange flavour is really good and it contains 15g of plant-based protein.
COLAB Active Dry Shampoo (RRP £3.99)
The last product in this month’s The Vegan Kind box is a full-size bottle of COLAB Active Dry Shampoo. I’ve used this before as I regularly use dry shampoo to freshen up my hair in between washes, and it works really well! Perfect for holidays, after the gym and those busy mornings when you just don’t have the time to wash your hair before work.
Also included is July’s recipe card which has been created by Obviously Vegan and these are her scrumptious Oreo Stuffed Cookies – I’ll definitely be making them soon!
