Looking for a subscription box that’s packed full of exciting vegan food and lifestyle products? You need The Vegan Kind in your life pronto! Delivered straight to your door every month, The Vegan Kind‘s Lifestyle Box contains around 5-8 products, all of which are guaranteed to be 100% cruelty-free and of course, suitable for vegans.

September’s box is a really fantastic example of what the company have to offer, so let’s jump right in and take a closer look at these amazing vegan goodies!

Loch Ness Bakery Smooth Vanilla Creams (150g, RRP £1.85)

Starting off with a delicious packet of biscuits, these Smooth Vanilla Creams are from the Loch Ness Bakery who slowly bake their products in traditional ovens in small batches using the finest ingredients and secret family recipes. I really enjoyed trying these out – they’re very much like a traditional Custard Cream and have a silky smooth buttercream filling that you wouldn’t realise is dairy-free at all!

Montezuma’s Chocolates Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Truffle Bites (120g, RRP £2.99)

I was instantly drawn to this colourful bag when I saw it in the box, but the contents are even more amazing than the cool packaging. From Montezuma’s Chocolates, these Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Truffle Bites are absolutely divine and feature a soft-centre that almost melts in your mouth – so yummy! I would definitely pick these up again.

Green Frog Botanic Laundry Soapnuts (200g, RRP £4)

Yes, soapnuts! I’ve been wanting to try these out for ages! From Green Frog Botanic, this bag of organic laundry soapnuts are sustainably grown Ayurvedic soapberries from the Himalayas, and they’ve been used for centuries thanks to their natural antibacterial properties which are great for treating sensitive skin conditions. This bag will last for around 50 washes and these are a brilliant plastic-free alternative to regular laundry liquid.

Ape Cheese and Coconut Puffs (25g, RRP £0.80)

For something savoury, there’s a bag of the brand new Cheese and Coconut Puffs from Ape Snacks. Made from a moreish mix of natural ingredients and flavours, these little balls are packed full of cheesy flavour with a bit of coconut which works surprisingly well. Each bag is only 112 calories as well.

Vego Fine Hazelnut Crunchy Chocolate Spread (200g, RRP £3.69)

Drumroll please….! The most exciting product in this month’s The Vegan Kind box is the brand new Vego Fine Hazelnut Crunchy Chocolate Spread which has only recently just launched here in the UK with TVK subscribers being among the first people in the UK able to try it! This chocolate spread is literally heaven in a jar – it tastes like the inside of a Ferrero Rocher and can be spread onto toast, crackers, used to top cakes or simply enjoyed straight from the jar. It is incredible!

Choc Chick Cacao Nibbles (30g, RRP £1.85)

If you’re after something that’s healthier but still kinda chocolately, these Choc Chick Cacao Nibbles are a delicious alternative and are packed full of natural antioxidants, plus they contain magnesium, iron and fibre, as well as being a powerful prebiotic. Perfect for snacking on, they have a nice crunch to them and I enjoyed sprinkling them over a bowl of porridge to liven it up.

The Happy Snack Company Lightly Salted Roasted Fava Beans (25g, RRP £0.90)

The final product in this month’s box is from The Happy Snack Company. This packet of Lightly Salted Roasted Fava Beans is the perfect size for popping into your lunchbox or handbag, and is a great way to get some extra plant-based protein and fibre into your daily diet. They’re tasty too!

This month’s recipe card is for a tempting Lemon Meringue Pie which has been created by Maryles Plantry’s, and 10p from every September box sold will be donated to FRIEND, a farm animal sanctuary which rescues and looks after nearly 200 animals.

Our score: 10.0/ 10

Wow, what an amazing box this month! The Vego chocolate spread was, of course, my favourite product, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything else as well and can't wait to try out the Soapnuts!
