With the New Year fast approaching and most of us trying desperately to figure out some good resolutions to start us on the road to having a fabulous 2017, and one resolution that I plan on sticking to is being more consumer aware and I have found an incredible box to help me stick to it. Vertue is a clean, green and cruelty-free, health and beauty subscription box, and I’m more than a little bit smitten.
One of Vertue’s best features is that the box comes with lots of leaflets full of information about each product and if you are new to these kinds of products like I am than you will definitely not feel overwhelmed. My favourite product in this box is Moa’s The green balm, a perfect all round balm that can be used on everything from itchy skin, bites, stings to a face balm, just to name a few. The packaging is absolutely beautiful, I have been carrying it around in my handbag and pulling it out every single time someone ask for a beauty product or some kind of relief. The balm is made with yarrow and tea tree, in fact the whole product is a 100% natural and is made in England. I have already ordered Moa’s entire range.
Hair products are definitely the product that I worry about most when it comes to chemicals, have you noticed that they all smell artificial. So when I opened my vertue box and saw Green people, quinoa and artichoke conditioner I let out a little scream, I was so excited to try this product that I cancelled my evening plans for a night of hair washing. The conditioner smells more like an expensive face mask rather than hair conditioner ( I have made every one I’ve meant over Christmas smell my hair ). This product has already become a firm favourite and has replaced my normal chemical packed conditioner, my hair is so impressed that it’s been super shiny all week.
I was a little unsure about Kiki health’s Natures living super food, although it seems I had no need to worry. Nature’s living super food comes in powder form so it allows you to easily add super foods to your daily diet. I have been adding half a teaspoon to my diet every day, usually in my morning green smoothie or porridge, so there’s no excuse not to get your greens in.
This Terre Verdi, Fran Chouli Pom body oil has made it into my yoga bag because it is simply amazing. It is made to be massaged into skin after cleansing but I love rubbing it on to my neck and shoulders just before my yoga session as it helps me with my mediation.
These gorgeous soaps are incredible, they smell like heaven, I just wish they were bigger. Bloomtown botanicals soap is 100% Palm oil and cruelty free and if that wasnt enough for you, they also donate a percentage of their profits to environmental and animal rescue charities. I would have just preferred to get one larger bar rather than these three minis.
