WowBoxMe is a monthly food and drinks subscription box which is aimed at people who love discovering new and interesting products. They offer various different boxes such as Discovery, Healthy, Craft Beers and Fine Wines, so it’s well worth checking out their website to see what they have as there’s something for everyone!

This month, they have kindly sent me their latest sample box to give you an idea of the kinds of products and brand that you can expect from them. There’s a lot in here, so let’s get stuck in!

Eat Real Lentil Chips in Sea Salt and Chilli & Lemon

The first two products that I pulled out of the box are from Eat Real and these Lentil Chips are so tasty! Gluten-free and vegan-friendly, they’re a delicious healthier alternative to regular crisps and would be great for lunchboxes. The Chilli & Lemon flavour is highly recommended!

Flourish & Flow BumbleZest Rosemary Thyme Lavender Sparkling Water

With only 18 calories per can, this unique healthy soft drink is an interesting product to try with hints of Rosemary, Thyme Lavender, Lemon and Cinnamon blended into lightly sparkling water.

Montezuma’s Organic Butterscotch Chocolate

Next, I found two mini bars of Montezuma’s Organic Butterscotch Chocolate which features 54% cocoa for an intensely rich and flavourful treat whenever you get a chocolate craving. I really enjoyed this and would definitely buy it again!

Premier Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour

Protein bars are very popular as a post-gym snack to refuel and this one from Premier Protein has a sweet and chewy Peanut Butter flavour with a layer of milk chocolate. Each bar is 20g of protein but only 1.2g of sugar for a healthier option.

Danny’s Chocolates Mississippi Mud Pie Bars

Made in my hometown of Stoke-on-Trent, these Mississippi Mud Pie chocolate bars are handmade from Danny’s Chocolates, a local family-run business. Very yummy!

My Foodie Plant-Based Drinks

Packaged in a recyclable glass bottle, this plant-based drink from My Foodie is a blend of Sea Buckthorn, Apple, Potato and Rapeseed Oil for a quirky healthy drink that you can enjoy at any time of the day. It’s nutritious and filling so would make a good breakfast on the go option for busy families or commuters.

Quibbles Salt & Vinegar Almonds

These are so moreish! Salt & Vinegar flavoured Almonds from Quibbles – nice and tangy for when you want something healthy but savoury!

Finish First Peanut Crunch Protein Bar

With 20g of protein packed into each bar, Finish First have a range of different flavours on offer including this Peanut Crunch one which really hits the spot! Like the other bar above, this one is also low in sugar which is great to see.

Ape Crunchy Coconut Bites

A simple and tasty treat, these Ape Crunchy Coconut Bites have no added sugar, are gluten-free and vegan-friendly so lots of people can enjoy them.

Diablo Sugar-Free Vanilla Cookies and Strawberry Yoghurt & Muesli Bars

Next up, we have three products from Diablo. First, I tried their Sugar Free Vanilla Cookies with Cocoa Cream and these are perfect for dunking into a cup of tea! Secondly, there are two bars of their no added sugar Strawberry Yoghurt & Museli which are great for eating on the go.

Optimum Nutrition Optimum Protein Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour

Another tasty high protein, low sugar bar to try – this time from Optimum Nutrition. This one is really sweet and moreish with a good texture to it.

Perkier! Cacao & Cashew Quinoa Bar

A healthy snack bar for energy on the go, this Perkier! Cacao & Cashew Quinoa has a really satisfying chewy and crunchy texture for a guilt-free treat!

Clio Greek Nougat

I haven’t had nougat in such a long time so I was pleased to find this Greek brand in the box! Made without any palm oil, it has honey, almonds and raspberries blended into a sweet and soft bar of nougat – pure heaven!

Punchy Spiced Rum Punch

I’m a big fan of rum punch drinks and this one from Punchy will definitely be on my next shopping list. With Peach, Ginger and Chai, it only has 1.1 units of alcohol (4% vol) so it makes a nice change from beer or cider.

Nutramino Nutra-Go Protein Wafer in Hazelnut

For something different from the protein bars, this Nutra-Go bar from Nutramino is a Protein Wafer instead but it still packs in 20g of protein and is also low in sugar. It has a sweet hazelnut cream filling which is lovely and being a wafer, it’s a much lighter texture.

Yes! Dark Choc, Sea Salt & Almond and Dark Choc Banana & Pecan Bars

To round off the box, we have five bars from Yes! and I was really happy to see that these are packaged in paper which can be easily recycled – I would love to see more brands change from plastic wrappers to paper! There are two flavours to enjoy here and I loved both of them, but the Banana & Peacan ones were my fave!
