For April, YumeTwins is focusing on the home, and just how cute you can make it!
The menu booklet has all kind of tips on how to make you home kawaii, including decor, colours, and even music choices!
You can also read about the items inside the box, where they’re from and the characters, and ways you can use them in your home.
This month’s large item is an adorable My Melody Mat. It’s got My Melody’s face in lovely soft plush towelling. It’s very similar to a bath mat, the same kind of texture, and would be perfect in the bathroom. It’s not big enough for an actual bath mat, but I think it will look great just in front of the sink, or even next to your bed.
The Kawaii Stacking Chest is a really handy little bit of storage. It comes in one of eight Sanrio characters, and is a little square box that pulls out like a drawer. Mine features Cinnomoroll, who is on the little know you pull the drawer out with. There are also four little feet and four indentations on the top, which means if you have multiple boxes they can be stacked like a tiny chest of drawers! It’s a cute item to have on your dressing table or vanity.
There’s another practical item in the Silicon Cup Cover. This cute silicone circle has a cat design with ears to act as handles, and it’s designed to fit over your coffee cup and seal it by pressing down gently. Great if you have a habit of knocking your drinks so they splash, and of course it helps to keep the heat in!
Socks are a great way to add a pop of kawaii to your outfit, and these cute MochiShiba Socks decorated with Shiba pups and dango skewers look adorable. They are also a nice nod to the current season, as dango are a popular snack at sakura festivals at this time of year.
The final item is a Mystery Item. I have a cute little My Melody plush, which is a nice match to the My Melody mat.
