YumeTwins

YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife.Each box contains 5 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.

They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).

This month we have another themed box, featuring one of Japan’s most iconic brands the Pokémon Poké-Dream box!

It features six cute and fun Pokémon items, and of course the booklet has some extra fun bonuses too.

Poké-pals Keychain, Pokéball Puzzle Figure, Pikachi Pen

The cute Pikachu keychain is one of a variety of possible Poké-keychains available. I think this one is really clever, as it clips neatly onto a pocket so your keys are safe inside but still easily accessible. There’s even a tiny pokéball where the keys hang!

The Pokéball puzzle is a megablox item, a bit like lego. The ball contains pieces to make up your figure, and then it sits neatly and securely on top to display.

I think you can never have too many pens, and this click-to-close pen featuring Pikachu is sure to come in useful.

Pikachu Plate & Pokémon Hand Cream

What a great way to make snacks more cute, especially when you’re playing Pokémon! The sturdy plastic means it’s safe from getting broken too.

The hand cream is a really lovely item, and comes in four different scents/characters. This Mew version is peach and bergamot scented, and not only is it cute and smells lovely, it’s a very effective product.

Pokémon Tissue Holder Plushie – Snorlax

It’s fab to see a plushie in a YumeTwins box again, and this one has a function too! As well as being soft and cuddly, it’s also a tissue holder! You can see on the back there’s a zip to place the tissues inside, then you pull them out via the gap. There’s also a strap and clip so you can attach it to a bag. It’s quite large for a bag attachment, but I think it could actually be really useful in the car!

It's lovely to have a plushie again, I've missed them the last couple of boxes! Snorlax is so fun, and whether or not you use him for tissues, he's a really nice plushie. The little Pokéball building figure is really cute also, and it's actually compatible with Lego, so if you're a Lego fan this would be a great addition to your creations. I think keychains are incredibly useful, and not just for keys, so I'm always happy to have another one. I have to say that the hand cream is my favourite this month, it really smells delicious and I love the combination of cute and functional! Altogether this is a great box, especially the single theme. I love it when YumeTwins do boxes like this, like the amazing Ghibli box a couple months ago. Great job!
