Studio Ghibli is one of the most famous cultural exports from Japan, and this month YumeTwins is celebrating them again with the My Ghibli Adventure box!
Even the shipping box has its own design! Can you recognise the silhouettes?
The menu booklet tells you about each item on the box, and there are also some lovely things to read about Ghibli in Japan. There are Ghibli-themed restaurants, parks, and you can even learn about the real-life places that inspired the stories and locations. Perfect for an Ghibli fan.
The Ghibli Zipper Lunch Pouch is perfectly on theme with the Kiki’s Delivery Service design! The little bag is insulated to keep the contents hot or cold, plus it has a little carry handle too. The triangle shape is designed to hold onigiri – Japanese rice balls – but you can put sandwiches, fruit, or anything else in there. There’s even a recipe for onigiri in the menu booklet!
There’s also a Ghibli Lunch Box Container. This is another handy picnic or packed lunch item, and it’s also microwave safe. It comes in one of four Ghibli designs, but I’m very happy I’ve got the Kiki design as it matches the bag perfectly.
Folders are essential for organising paperwork, and it’s always nice to have pretty ones! This is a Ghibli Movie Scene Folder and features some of the most iconic scenes from Ghibli movies. There are a possible six designs, and mine is this beautifully detailed scene from Howl’s Moving Castle.
Stationery items are some of the most useful items from YumeTwins, and this Ghibli Character Pen and Ghibli Memo Pad are perfect for desk or organisation station! I use memo pads all the time, and these adorable noteless feature four different Totoro designs. The pen is a classic retractable ballpoint with a cute Princess Mononoke design, and perfect for the collection as I often find I never have a pen when I need one!
