This month’s box design gives us a clue to the theme: My Ghibli Journey!
See the little Totoro silhouette there? I knew right away it was going to be something Ghibli-themed, which is brilliant news because YumeTwins Ghibli boxes are always amazing.
The menu booklet has a ton of lovely tidbits about Ghibli in Japanese culture, including the news that there’s now a Ghibli-themed park in Nagoya! Definitely one for the bucket list. There is also a list and descriptions of the items in the box and any variations.
This Kiki’s Delivery Service Cup Set is as adorable as it is useful. There’s a jug with a lid that is designed to contain the four stacking cups. They’re all decorated with illustrations from the movie, and the compact design makes it perfect for taking out for picnics or other outdoor events. Of course you can also use them at home! This is a really lovely set, ideal for Ghibli fans.
Another practical and portable item is the Totoro Lunch Box. This little sealable box is great for carrying snacks and other treats, any time you want to take them with you, like the stacking cups and jug it’s another perfect picnic item.
The three other items are smaller but still Ghibli-tastic. There’s a Studio Ghibli Clear File, which is a lovely decorative A4 folder for keeping papers, receipts, schoolwork etc organised. It has a pattern on one side and the back is clear so you can see what’s actually in it! Mine is from Spirited Away, but there are six different possible designs.
The Ghibli Badge is a cute way to show you love of Ghibli on a bag or jacket, in one of 14 character designs. There’s also a Howl’s Moving Castle Postcard featuring an iconic scene from the movie. You can sent it as a card or simply use it to display, as it’s beautiful quality.
