This month YumeTwins has brought us one of their periodic single themed boxes. It features a collaboration between one of the most beloved Sanrio characters, Cinnamoroll, and the extraordinary vocaloid character Hatsune Miku in this box called Project Besties!

First of all you might be wondering what a vocaloid is and how it can be a character. Well, you can learn more in the menu booklet, but basically it is a vocal synthesiser program that can be used to create songs.

The character Miku is incredibly popular, with the voice being featured in many places, including music and film, and there’s even a live show featuring a projected lanimation of the character!

As for Cinnamoroll, we all know about the gorgeously cute pup with the big blue eyes, he’s one of the biggest kawaii icons.

Like I said, in the menu booklet there’s an overview of Miku, Cinnamoroll, and more about kawaii culture. There’s also a full rundown of the different items. in the box.

Hatsune Miku X Cinnamoroll Cushion

This cute cushion is the perfect size to be used as a back support, resting your head, or just as a cute kawaii home accessory. It’s soft and squishy, and it has the design on both sides.

Hatsune Miku X Cinnamoroll Wall Organizer

It’s alway useful to have places to keep little items, and this cute organiser has two pockets that are a great size for keeping track of things that might get lost easily! It has a hanging loop so you can put it on the wall, and the design is cute enough to just use for decoration too.

Cinnamoroll Mist Spray Bottle, Hatsune Miku X Cinnamoroll Round Coaster, Hatsune Miku X Cinnamoroll Microfibre Cloth

The little spray bottle is the perfect size for keeping in your handbag. I think the most convenient use for it would be as a face mister while travelling, especially as the weather starts to get warmer! I has a hanging loop and features a sweet Cinnamoroll design.

The coaster is another collaboration item, featuring the two characters. It’s made from a soft neoprene-type material, which is perfect to protect your surfaces from moisture or heat.

These microfibre cloths are incredibly useful to have around, and they work well polishing up any kind of glass, especially screens.

I wasn't familiar with the vocaloid character, so I'm actually very pleased to have learned about something completely new! The collaboration designs are super cute, and I really love the pale blue colour scheme. The coaster and cloth are small but they're actually incredibly useful. I wear glasses and they're constantly covered in smudges, as is my phone, and this is definitely a cute way to keep them clean! The cushion is quite small but as an accessory it's a lot of fun, as is the little hanging organiser. It's great when YumeTwins do themed boxes, I really like the continuity, and the selection of items is a great combination of cute and useful.
