YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife.Each box contains 5 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.

They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).

YumeTwins has had a refresh in look for this month! Magical Level-Up! has a new shipping box design plus a fantastic new-look bigger and better booklet inside.

We’ve still got the contents, but the descriptions are much more detailed, and there’s tons more extras too: games and information related to the goodies inside.

Well, the new box is a different shape to before, wider and slightly flatter, so I did wonder about the amazing plushes that are so frequently in the box – how were they going to fit?

YumeTwins Original Magical Nyan Nyan Plushie

Well, this month answered that question, but having this plush vacuum-sealed! Yes, it looks a bit funny all flattened down, but once I took it out it puffed up perfectly. Nyan means meow in Japanese, and this adorable magical kitty plush is created by YumeTwins and even has the name embroidered on the back. Super cute and soft.

YumeTwins Exclusive Cardcaptor Sakura Blanket

This is another item made especially for YumeTwins. This lovely fleecy lap blanket features Sakura Kinomoto, who has been the protagonist of the Cardcaptor manga and anime for more than twenty years.

Sailor Moon Playing Cards

Sailor Moon is another incredibly popular manga then anime series. The cards are a standard set but with 54 different character illustrations. The box booklet even includes instructions for the popular Japanese card game Daifugo, which is a great way to try out the cards.

Sanrio Sweetie Figure – Cinnamoroll

These adorable little minifigures are weighted on the rounded base so the don’t fall over! Rather like the cutest ever weeble.

Twisted Wonderland Notepad & Tin

Twisted Wonderland is a mobile game created by Disney Japan. Based on a mashup of Disney films and characters crossed with magic, it’s hugely popular in Japan, and even though it’s not yet available in English it has fans around the world!

This Japan-exclusive item is a tin containing two little notepads in the shape of a coffin. Dark but cute!

It's exciting to see this new look for YumeTwins! While anime isn't my personal focus for kawaii stuff, I think these items are really fun, especially both the cute and practical aspects of the playing cards and blanket. Not to mention they're both perfect for cosy winter nights in! It's very clever to vacuum pack the plushie, especially as I've often though that they take up SO much space there's barely any space for anything else. The booklet is really fun too, I love that there is much more information inside so I'm happy to see where they go next!
